Monday

09.15am – 10.15am – Sun Power Yoga - All levels @ My Core Wellbeing, Guisborough

An energising and harmonising start to the week with this class incorporating subtle breath work, a flowing asana sequence carried along by a spiritual uplifting soundtrack and ending with a well propped relaxation: eye pillows, bolsters everything you need to fully relax and absorb the goodness of the practice.

10.45am – 11.45am – Gentle Hatha Yoga - All levels @ My Core Wellbeing, Guisborough

 

A gentle yoga class comprising of posture work and subtle breath work to encourage healthy movement, movement and good health

Tuesday

6.00pm – 7.15pm – Ashtanga Vinyasa – Open Level @ My Core Wellbeing, Guisborough

A dynamic yoga class based on the Primary Series of Ashtanga Yoga suitable for those who have completed a beginners course. The focus is on key standing, seated and finishing postures from the Primary Series whilst each week exploring different postures from later in the series including simple arm balances, backbends and inversions. Modifications and variations are given and props are encouraged to support all body types. Each week there will be a different teaching focus where we explore the inner and outer techniques of the 8 limbs of Ashtanga yoga.

7.30pm – 8.45pm – Ashtanga Vinyasa – Beginners Level @ My Core Wellbeing, Guisborough

This class will provide you with an introduction to the key elements and a stable foundation in Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. You will learn breath awareness, the key standing/seated and finishing postures and relaxation techniques. Safe alignment cues, modifications and how to use props are taught to develop confidence and help you understand your body and get the most from your practice.

 

Wednesday

6.00pm – 7.30pm - Ashtanga Mysore Style Self Practice@ My Core Wellbeing, Guisborough

In a Mysore Style Class, you will be taught a sequence of postures through one-on-one instruction. The movements, breath, and other aspects of the practice are learned gradually, in a step-by-step process. This method allows each student time to practice and memorise what they have learned before adding more. The benefit of learning Mysore style is you are able to practice independently and at your own pace while surrounded by the energy and inspiration of other students in the room. You may wish to start a self practice but the idea may feel overwhelming or you may wish to go deeper into your practice than a taught class offers, Mysore style allows you to practice at your own pace under the guidance of an experienced instructor. 

Thursday

6.00pm – 7.30pm – Sun Power Yoga - All levels @ Bannatyne Health club, Ingelby Barwick

A Vinyasa flow class comprising of subtle breath work, flowing yoga postures and a generous relaxation carried along by a carefully selected uplifting soundtrack.
